Yellow Popped on SS2017 Milan Runways

September 27th, 2016|

Actresses literally glowed in?gorgeous yellow dresses on the Emmys red carpet a week ago. The myth that yellow is not ?the easiest color to wear was dispelled by Taraji P Henson, Angela Bassett, Ellie Kemper, ?and Minnie Driver who all wore it in stunning fashion. We adored?Mandy Moore in a beautiful marigold shade. Yellow CAN?complement all skin tones if?the right shade is chosen.
It was no surprise to see?the shade?pop in variations from the theatrically surreal to the sublime on the Spring Summer 2017 Milan runways.?Designers presented solids and prints, flowers and stripes in shades from school bus yellow to butter to the soft pastel of an Italian lemon ice. There were coats and dresses?crafted in?materials ranging?from leather to chiffon. Looks encompassed?military styling to beaded and embellished?wisps?of a cotton candy like coat to color blocked graphics?knits, and of course, Dolce flowers. Pucci showcased the color yellow in practically every shade and had several stunning graphics and color blocked pieces. ?From our perspective, Bottega Veneta had the big winner here?in a luscious?butter yellow leather shirtdress.
Here is a sampling of what we will see this spring. Bookmark this blog for those dark winter days ahead. ?Sunshine is always around the corner.

Try including yellow in your wardrobe. There are certainly lots of options. Be sure to work with a expert?stylist who will help you find the perfect shade for your skin tone. ?Bring on winter. We are thinking sunshine! Remember Luxe Axcess, we get you in to luxury fashion. ?Contact us to preview and preorder these looks and?add a ray of sunshine to your wardrobe.
